VideoSplit is a utility to split MPEG files into smaller MPEG files. VideoSplit was developed
out of a need to split large home movies into smaller chunks for transferring to DVD. The home
movies were captured in the correct DVD format so there was no need for recompression. VideoSplit is based on the MPEG2Lib (http://www.logicnet.dk/lib/) , the source for this library is included with VideoSplit. VideoSplit is not production quality code, in fact used for something other than a standard DVD format it will probably crash. The output files from VideoSplit do not include the MPEG header however most software seems to figure out the format fine. This software is only being released as other people may find it useful. Note the fastest was to use VideoSplit is by learning the hot keys. These keys are listed under the Action menu item. |
